How an appointment works from Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove is a neighbourhood of Miami, not a separate city, and it sits on the bay directly south of Brickell. I meet clients in their county, not mine; in Miami-Dade that means offices in Brickell and residences in Coral Gables, and my own office is in Brickell by appointment. Coral Gables borders the Grove on the west and Brickell on the north, so either is close: South Bayshore Drive or US-1 takes you straight to Brickell. Hours are Monday to Saturday, after-hours by request.
Or ship it: the label, the insurance, the camera
If you would rather not drive even that far, I email a prepaid FedEx Priority Overnight label on my account. The parcel is insured to the declared value and signed for at both ends. At my desk I open the box on camera and inspect the watch as I would across the table. If we do not agree, it returns on the same service, insured, at my cost.
What I buy, and what I do not

Not smartwatches, not fashion-brand watches, not projects without provenance. No papers does not mean no offer; the reply explains what the missing card does on that reference.
Trade instead of sell
The appraisal can be credit against a watch in the catalog or one I source to order. Purchased pieces are hand-delivered to South Florida residents at no charge, so a trade from the Grove can finish at your door or across my desk, whichever you prefer.
When selling to a dealer is not the right call
With months to spare, a private sale may bring more, and I will say so after I see the watch. A watch that carries a memory is not a number; keep it. A replica I will identify and decline. What I offer is one accountable person, an insured chain of custody, and a figure I can explain.
