How an appointment works from Aventura
Aventura is one of the Miami-Dade cities the county page names, and the service-area page puts it at one end of the range I cover. The rule is simple: I meet clients in their county, not mine. In Miami-Dade I already meet at offices in Brickell and residences in Coral Gables. You tell me where in the county suits you and we set a time. Getting to the rest of the county from Aventura means I-95 or Biscayne Boulevard heading south, a real drive at the wrong hour, which is why the label exists.
Or ship it: the label, the insurance, the camera
I send a prepaid FedEx Priority Overnight label on my account. The watch is insured to the declared value and signed for at both ends. When it reaches my desk I open the box on camera and go through the case, movement, serial, and papers the same way I would with you across from me. If we do not make a deal, it returns on the same service, insured, at my cost.
What I buy, and what I do not
Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Tudor, Panerai, IWC, and Zenith. Not smartwatches, not fashion-brand watches, not projects without provenance. A watch with no papers still gets a number; the reply says what the missing card does on that reference.
Trade instead of sell
The appraisal doubles as trade credit against anything in the catalog or a piece sourced to order. Purchased pieces are hand-delivered to South Florida residents at no charge, so the trade can finish at your door in Aventura rather than at mine.
When selling to a dealer is not the right call
A private sale can bring more if you have the months and the patience, and I will say so once I have seen the watch. A watch that carries family history is not a number; keep it. A replica I will name as one and decline. What I do is a clean, insured, documented sale with one accountable person on the other side.
