Trade instead of sell
If you want a different watch more than the cash, the appraisal becomes credit against anything in the catalog or a piece sourced to order. Same inspection, same number, applied to the next watch.
When selling to a dealer is not the right call
With time and patience for a private sale you may net more on your own, and I will say so when the watch warrants it. A piece with family history you are not ready to part with is better kept. A replica I will identify and decline. What I offer is a clean, insured, documented sale from one person who can explain the number.
