The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116523 combines one of the most recognizable chronographs ever made with the warmth of 18k yellow gold and stainless steel. This example features a crisp white dial with champagne-tone chronograph registers, complemented by yellow-gold hour markers, hands, crown and screw-down pushers. Surrounding the dial is a fixed 18k yellow-gold tachymeter bezel, a defining Daytona feature originally designed to calculate average speed over a measured distance. Rolex Newsroom Unlike the ceramic-bezel Daytonas that followed, the 116523 retains the classic engraved metal bezel, giving it a distinctly early-2000s Rolex character.
